Thanks to the versatile tuition offered by our specially trained kids' instructors, your children will advance through play. Swiss Snow League tests are integrated in the school during the week and the results will be recorded in the kid's personal booklet. Tests can be continued at any official Swiss Ski School.
Your children will be in professional hands from 9 am until 3.30 pm. We will be delighted to show your children our mountains the same way our parents showed them to us when we were kids.
Don't forget that you are skiing in the high mountains where thick clothing, mittens, goggles, sunscreen and lip protection are required. Furthermore, we recommend wearing a helmet (availble to rent from the ski school office or one of the local sports shops).

 

Programme

• Meeting point on Monday and Tuesday is at the Tourist Office between 8.30 and 9 am
• Wednesday to Friday we meet at Sunnegga Express bottom station
• professional ski instruction from 10 am until 3.30 pm with approx. one hour supervised lunch break in one of the mountain restaurants with reserved tables.
• Return to the meeting point in Zermatt between 3.30 and 3.45 pm
• Ski race with prize ceremony on Friday 1.30 pm at the Eisfluh top station (Sunnegga)
• Swiss snow league tests with the results recorded in each childs personal booklet (the corresponding medals are for sale in the office)

Please book lessons in advance. Registration is confirmed definitively by purchasing a ski school ticket.

Lessons as per the Swiss Snow League System

Level 1	blue league - Prince/Princess for first time skiers: gliding, snow plough, stopping
Level 2	blue league - King/Queen snow plough turns, first parallel turns, blue runs
Level 3	red league - Prince/Princess parallel turns, red runs
Level 4	red league - King/Queen short turns, free skiing on red runs

 

Good to know

• We offer all-day group lessons only. For 2 or 3 hour lessons we will be pleased to book you a private snow sports instructor
• Lunch an beverages are included in the ski school price
• Ski pass: children born in 2001 or later ski for free. Children born in 1994-2000 pay half price (official ID with date of birth is required).
• Number of participants per group in the children's ski school: max. 10 children
• The Ski and Snowboard School Zermatt does not accept any responsibility for accidents or their consequences occurrring during instrution
• Participants must arrange their own insurance
